I am 3 day post Cruise and I am STILL swaying like a drunkin Sailor. It was well worth it though and I would do it again!!! On May 11, 2011 Rae, Angela, Tracy and their 2 daughters went on a girls only cruise up the Pacific Coast. We flew down to Long Beach California and cruised up to Vancouver, BC, Canada.
As we walked off the plane I couldn't help but think we made a mistake not taking that Microsoft Job in California instead of the Job at Zumiez. :) The Sky was crystal blue, the temperature in the low 70's, and perfect sailing weather. It was beautiful!!
Day 1 of the cruise was very smooth and WARM. Day 2 was not so smooth to the point we were swaying the whole day and the wind was horrible. By day 3 the closer we got to the Northwest the colder it got! lol. It was still fun and would do it again!!
Vancouver was very pretty for the most part. I never realized Vancouver was such a big city. We spend all day in Vancounver visiting a Science Center and then hoped on a Amtrak to come back down to Seattle which was also an awesome trip as no one but me at ever taken a train before. :)
We had a great time!! Thank you for the wonderful memory. Love you Rae!!

This is how bad the boat was rocking on day 2. They had to close the pools. Think about about how we all felt as you see those waves. lol |

Looking at these again makes me want to go back. Should we do this for their 12 1/2 year birthdays, too? ;)
