Happenings...

POST UPDATED>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

1. It crazy how time gets away from you.  Our anniversary happened to be on May 27th and because of TJ's tournament down in Portland we totally forgot about it.  There was no boohoo, someone forgetting, it was both of us who forgot!! lol.  On Sunday night we sat around talking and realized the day had slipped away from us.  Luckily neither of us were at all upset about it.  We just vowed not to do it again and plan a get away sometime soon.  James and I have been married for 17 years now.  Thank you for all the good years you have given me and the kids.  Let go party!! :)

2. As of today, I am done for the quarter in school.  YAY!!  I ended with a 4.0 in both classes.  Woot!!  Now I have 4 weeks off and then start my clinical rotation for Western State Hospital on July 5th (orientation).  I will only have 4 weeks of school this summer, then will be off until end of September.  Now is the time preceptorship requests will go in and I will definitely put in for a pediatrics rotation.   Cross your fingers I get it!!

3.  My dad and brother Ian will be here today for a visit.  Although Ian did come out last summer to watch my kids for me, my dad has not seen us for 6 years.  We are all very excited to see him.  My dad has not seen the kids in a long time  and they have change extremely from little kids to young men and women at this point.   I am not sure what we are going to do but we are going to have fun that for sure.

4.   James new job has taken a toll on family life and our wallet (for gas), so we have decided to pack up the family one last time (hopefully) and move north of Seattle.  We have never lived up north and have always lived in this region of Seattle.  This should be a new experience.   We will be moving up to Bothell area, but my kids will be in the Woodinville schools (Northshore SD).   This should be interesting.  We move at the end of this month and will miss this area extremely.  I have loved living in Maple Valley and have met so many friends.  We will miss everyone.

The new place we getting is a 3200 sq foot home built in 1996 with 1 acre.  Yes I vowed I would never get acreage again but this house is nice and in a nice area with neighbors all around.  The house does not feel like living in a bat cave like the Enumclaw home did.  :)   Pictures will follow soon.

5.  TJ's PCLC Lacrosse team took 3rd in the Lake Oswego Tournament down in Portland 2 week ago.  Congrats to the team!!

anyways..there you go! The Vastbinder's happenings.  Fun Fun. :)
