Well it's 3 days until the ragnar race. I am a little nervous as I had gone 2 weeks without running at all. I finally went last night and my hamstring/glut was hurting just a mile in. Couldn't do more then 2 miles because I didnt want to hurt it. I have 15.2 miles to run over a 24 hr period so I hope I am ok lol. Why have I not run. Well first I have been super busy with school so my running schedule was all off and second I was pure lazy by the time I got home I was way to tired to run. lol. Just Pray for me lol thats all I ask. o_O :)
Let's see what else has been happening. Well this new house we THOUGHT we where going to buy is folding sadly. So it looks like we don't know what we will be doing these next few months. Not cool. I so loved this house tremendously...Anyways... I guess we will have to see what the lord has in store for us. I am just going by the spirit and putting my trust in the fact that the Heavenly Father knows best for my family. :) Things happen for a reason that I am sure.......
Now school.. well school is school. Busy..lots of paperwork..and lots of late nights. lol My Mother/baby and Labor and delivery are over and now I am starting Pediatrics. Fun Fun.. This week I will be at the Ashley House a home for very ill children. After that I will be in the hospital for 3 more weeks down at Madigan Army hospital then I'm done YAY!!!.... Its been a long quarter lol. As Part of my clinical experience this quarter I also got to participate in a Nursing camp for high school students. These are student who are thinking about pursuing a career in nursing. At first I had signed up to demonstrate IV starts (putting IV's in arms) but then I got asked by the nursing staff to do the Noelle Birthing Station. lol I have no clue why they picked me out of 40 students lol. I was a little bummed I will admit but I will say I did learn alot about all the "in and outs" of birth lol. So 10 times I gave a little lecture on stages of labor, all that is required to birth a baby, role of the Registered Nurse and helped our birthing mannequin "Noelle" birth 10 babies. lol Lets just say it was great birth control for the high school student lol.
Well the kids are doing great... We have gone to the lake a few times and have had a fun summer playing with their friends. We hope we are able to go camping this summer but those plan might be put on hold. We will see. We have had some little friends over to play this summer. Here is a pic of AJ's little friend H.
Here is another picture from our 4th of July BBQ with Rae and her friend. :)
