Update...sorry been a busy girl.

Most adorable picture. CJ was tearing up over his sunburn back today and we put a wet towel on his back and he fell asleep over the arm of couch just like this lol... couldn't resist taking this pic.

So its been a month lol..dang I am a slacker...lol

Anyways..

Here are some random happenings...

1. I started back to school about 3 weeks ago. Its been bitter sweet. Bitter because I have had to stay up late getting concept maps done (care plans) for my clinical day. Sweet because I feel right at home in clinicals. :) I am in doing my clinical rotation at Madigan Army Hospital down in at Ft. Lewis in the Maternal/child section and will do pediatrics in 2 weeks from now. It's been amazing. The first week I did triage (the first place pregnants moms come to rule out active labor) and then these last 2 weeks I've done Postpartum (after the baby's are born). :) I feel right at home. Passed off my newborn and mom assessments yesterday and did the baby 24 hour blood tests. Poor little thing. Next week I will start labor and delivery. We will see if I like l & d. :)

2. Kids are out of school and been just having fun this summer. We will probably go camping in August sometime after my school gets out. Yay!!! We had a nice annual 4th of July BBQ with tons of fireworks. Our good friends, the Baumgartners, always come each year along with a few others.. Powells, Fletchers and my brother Brendan and his fam. Thank you all for coming. It was a last minute setup but you all are welcome next year. :)

3. Today was a 95 degree day. WOW. Doesnt happen very often. Geez I think just 2 weeks ago the area broke a 200 and something day record of a temperature over 75 lol. Yep it had been like 250 days since we had seen 75 degrees. HAHA.

4. Well the lord has other plans for us. It looks like we might end up on a different path then we ever thought possible. lol. Rollercoasters are great for the soul I guess lol. We'll see what happens...thats all I am saying for now. :) Is there a silver lining in things? Yes I know there is in this one. :) My prayers were sorta answered although not the way I thought they would be answered or wanted this answer lol. ANYways. lol

5. We all meddle from time to time. I am no saint when it comes to it too. lol Found a great website to help in determining if you are crossing the meddling line.. a nice reminder of when advice is good advice or just downright meddling. I am not sure I agree with number 4 idea that he gives. I mean if you keep pushing then yes but to ask, have conversations or go door to door I don't think is wrong. :) But that my opinion.

Anyways...some tidbits from me. :) Have a fun July. ill try to write more.
