This is the view of leg 32 at Admiralty inlet of Anacorte islands. It was so beautiful and LONG run for our 12 person team. BUT we did it. 187 miles, 12 people, 3 times running and we did it in 31 hours. Thats great for being the first time most of us did the ragnar. It was a great but tiring experience. My first leg was leg 12 (7 miles) and I hurt my glut and hamstring. Yuck. I had been milking my poor leg for 6 week and I hobbled into the exchange in a 1 1/2 time, which is not the best but at least I finished. The next few hours I spent icing, stretching and the PT that happened to be on the team did an adjustment to help my hips go back into allignment. YAY!! My second run was over Deception pass in the middle of the night at 3 am. It was the most scariest thing. lol I even had some drunk men approach me over the bridge at deception pass. Not to good. Last leg was my UP THE WHOLE hill run. I did pretty good considering all the stuff that happened. Jame also did great and was a trooper going up those dang hills. LOL. That boy was pulling 8 minute miles his legs which I could not even come close to beating. He was our hill king that is for sure.
Tonight is the torchlight race up in settle. Luckily its only a 8 k so its not a big race. I dont know if I could handle a bigger one at this time. My hips, glut, and hamstring still bothers me and I havent run as much as I should.
Ok well school is almost done. I am in my pediatric unit and only have 2 more weeks left before the end of the quarter. YAY!!... I am done with everything but 3 care maps. yep yep. After this I will be in my official 2nd year of nursing school and could potentially graduate in June 2011 (if I go back full time), which I have thought about recently because I am gettting sick of school. lol

Here is a pic of Rae and her friends. what a cute picture. :)
Kids are doing great. We have been trying to go to parks to swim but our new found fun has been innertubing down the rivers around us. They boys have begged us every day to go. TJ has been begging us to go fishing all summer and we have a few times just not enought to pacify his urge to fish lol. So we will probably be going to do some serious fishing sometime soon. We are waiting till I get out of school to do more things. So photos and updates will happen in a few weeks.
Well that is all for now. James and I are heading out for our race up in Seattle. YAY.
