Random pic: AJ and CJ at the Museum of flight in June 2010 So here goes a few gossips and latest happenings around here and around the world...
1. So what you think about the Mosque going into downtown NYC near ground zero? Really people who really cares if a Muslim Mosque goes in. That what this country was founded on, religious freedoms. Can't blame the whole muslim religions for some FREAKS who decided to go NUTS and kill tons of people. As a Mormon, I see how much it takes and how much heat and opposition the church goes through when they announce a new locations for a temple, how can I or anyone else do the same for the Muslim people. I am just GRATEFUL I live in this blessed country for having the freedom to be Mormon or any other religion. :)
2. Lindsay Lohan in the news alot. REALLY ? Come on. Why the heck does she take up the news when there's starving people out there. Come on media get your priorities straight please.
3. Bedbugs are in the news.. YUCK... I don't know what is worse bedbugs or roaches. Both make me cringe. Yuck. Here's the link lol.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20100818/us_time/08599201150900
4. Ok Family happenings... Last night a big Ol' bat decided to make it unwanted flight in my bedroom. It must have been coming after an insect that flew into our room or something. It couldnt find it way out and was flying all over the dang place flying right towards us. Finally when it landed we saw the larger then normal bat that was circling our room. TJ and his ways came in with a net and wanted to catch it while James opened up both french doors to the balcony and took a broom to get the thing out. Luckily it went out and we had an uneventful evening after. WOOT. A bat loved us last night. :)
5. School is done for me now and I am official a 2nd year advanced nursing student. YAHOO. I have passes off all my skills and will not have anymore labs again the rest of my time in nursing school yay!! I did find out they have no room for me in the Full time program so I will be going snails pace and wont graduate until next December because of it.
6. EJ and TJ have been doing a lot of outdoors stuff for church this summer. Last week they went on a 70 mile mountain biking trek. James went with them as he is a mountain biker and they invited him. Tonight the boys went on a hike. They are keeping busy. EJ still has not decided on either playing school golf or boy tennis for school this fall. I guess we will see what he does. TJ will be playing football for school.
7. Rae started cheer practice last week but found out today that 5 of the 8 games are on sunday hmmm. Sadly she will not be participating in sunday games and I made a commitment that church was more important that sports and would not miss church for a game. It feels good to stick to my guns on this topic even if people have already given me slack about it. Whats more important spiritual things or cheerleading hmm Thats an easy answer for me... spiritual things hands down!! :)
8. CJ decided not to do football so he will be signing up for soccer along with AJ this fall. That will be so cute to watch both boys playing soccer. I always love seeing the little guys playing.
9. I forgot to mention that in June we went to the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle on a little trip with our great neighbors. Here is a pic of the kids along with a few up top of AJ and CJ.
Well I am trying to rack my brain right now for more stuff but my brain is to tired at this point to think of anything else. lol
