

Ok first let me talk about my slippers that I call the "green thingy's". lol You look at these and go WT HECK and who would buy them cuz there ugly. I thoughts the same thing. I saw them at walmart one day and said O M G I will NEVER EVER buy those awful things. Then my hubby James, bless his soul, brought them home one day and I about ripped his head off for buying the most ugly thing that would not work to clean up floors. After all, Kari is all knowing you know. lol You see these slippers have microfiber under then. (you see the tassles lol) and you wear them to clean up the little things on the floor. You can replace the bottoms etc. So onto my jabber.... so they sat underneath my kitchen sink for 2 weeks. On Sunday Rae got them out after I couldn't find the dang receipt to take these ugly green thingy's back. I was mopping my hardwood floors and Rae started using them. LOW and behold they actually worked. My green thingy's worked lol. So now my poor ugly green thingy's get worn every day when I am downstairs on my hardwood floors. Rae will wear them too. :)

Ok onto my update on my running. So yesterday I was suppose to run 40 minutes but ended up running a little more because I wanted to get 3 miles in. YES, I know Im slow right now. lol. I did Hills and it wasn't pleasant, but at least it wasn't pouring down rain. lol Today I went to gym did my eliptical and then did some weight training with my good friend linda. Today was an easy day which I needed to recover. Tomorrow will be another long run which I'm not looking forward too. My eating has been within limits and I feel better everyday now that I am cutting out the junk. I am just not a person who can eat junk food because I become addicted to it and cant stop myself. lol
Anyways.. a last thought. James and I are signing up for a 1/2 Ironman for this fall. So if anyone wants to join us let me know. The 1/2 Ironman includes : 13.1 mile run, 50 mile bike, 1.2 mile swim. Ok so we are adventurous. lol. I should be in good shape after training for that lol.
