Although she had come down with alzeimers for the last few years she still remember me. :) She said to me, "you look like that other girl, what her name", and I replied, "Amy (my sis)" and she would said yes. :) But she did remember me regardless even though I had not seen her in 8 years.
My grandma was so spunky (like me), funny, and would go nuts with all 7 of her grandchildren when she was visiting lol. She was my grandma. I loved her to death and I am going to miss her tremendously even though I know she is in a better place.
On thursday I will be flying out to her little town she grew up in (coshocton ohio) and where my grandpa was laid to rest. We are going to go to her favorite restuarant, visit amish country like she loved, and see the little town that has been part of my families life since I remember. :)
Here are some pic of this wonderful lady. And yes I get my light eyes from this little lady. :)

Kari - Best wishes during this time of grieving. Hope you've missed the massive snowstorms of late if you did go to Ohio. Hope all else is well with you folks.
Love,
Aunt Phyllis
