I have fallen and I can get my fat booty up.

Literally!.  So since I have moved here I have put on about 20 lbs.  Mind you I had put on 15 pounds all ready by the time we had moved.  What is up with that?  I guess I have been sitting on my can, not exercising, not walking up to the school to drop off kids, and mostly sitting on my wide load to study until wee hours in the morning.   I keep on telling myself, "Kari, you will start Weight Watchers Today", but then I put a big fat juicy cheeseburger and fries down my mouth.  WHY?   Probably because I don't hardly get out of my house these days and so don't have to keep up appearances.  I don't have to get out of sweats because there is no one to see, and on top of it all my hip is still bugging me any time I even do a jig let alone run.

Sad part is that I am suppose to be running in our MV stake 5k/10k in 2 weeks and I have not even put a foot on my treadmill to get started training.   Rebeka, are you doing the race?

So next time you see me...probably on our girls night out or Angela's baby shower give me some encouragement to stop this obsessive eating and slumming I am doing!

So 35 lbs is obtainable by end of summer I guess. I just need to get my bum off the couch and get exercising.

Weight Watchers, your my best Friend

So why is Weight Watchers my best friend? Well it seems that I am constantly go to Weight Watchers trying to get the dang weight off so I might as well say it is my best friend.

I can't believe I allowed myself to gain back 27 lbs of the 45 lbs I lost last year. 3 trips last year, holidays, and my mother in law good cooking (she is the Master chef of cooking so I couldn't resist eating her dinners she made when she was here :), I, on the other hand, try to be a cook but admittedly can't cook for nothing) and you have gained unwanted poundage. The fact that I love food and have little control doesn't help either. I have also had hip problems since training for the seafair torch light race in 2006, so was not able to exercise for a good 9 months, which did not help in trying to maintain my weight.
Last year went on a cruise to mexico, came back and had gain 12 lbs in 4 day. Yes, only I would gain that kind of weight. Never lost the weight after the trip. Then on our trip to Europe I gained 13 lbs in 2 weeks, and of course, did not lose a single pound of that either. Actually gained a few more pounds between my last 2 trips. Now on to the cruise in January in which I gain 5 lbs (not to bad considering all that I ate), but then lost it again. So 27 lbs later I am sitting here 2 pant sizes bigger then what I was last summer and wearing sweat pants because I am to cheap to buy new clothes and hoping that I will shrink back to my sized 8/10 clothes again.

I find that I wear cute clothes, do my hair and makeup everyday when I am down in weight but then cruise in sweats, no makeup and my hair is back in a Pony tail when I am up in weight.

So what does all this tell me...... Weight watchers and my exercise equipment are going to become my best friends again for the next couple of months. Sigh. So hopefully by end of summer I will be down the weight plus more.

Goals for March:

  • Lose 10 lbs (only because I am just starting, I tend to lose alot when I first start)

  • get going on WW

  • drink tons of water

  • Run 3 x a week, do something else 2x a week
