Yesterday was a first for many in this house. First day of a new school district. First day of "official" high school. First day of Junior High. First day of 9th grade. First day hoping that CJ would get on the bus...to no success. Sigh.
-EJ refused to take pic so I snapped one later in the day..I will upload it soon.
EJ is our official high schooler in the the family. I say official because this year really should be his second year because he is in 10th grade but the school district starts high school in 10th instead of 9th. EJ is doing cross country this fall for a sport and has been practicing for a few weeks now. I am glad he is going something to meet others. He has already met a few of his fellow "to be" lacrosse teammates on the cross country team. Yay for him. EJ will also be doing Saturday only
Indoor box lacrosse with his Woodinville team. Hopefully he can work his way into his new team quicker this way.

Don't take my pic mom! TJ |
TJ is in 9th grade this year which should be high school but not in this school district. He is at the Junior high this year, which to be honest I think is great. It keeps them innocent another year. TJ is playing football for the HS this fall. He is on the freshmen team and has been working out since the beginning of July. He is already talking about hanging out with all the football players at school. LOL It's funny how it is still the same as when I was a kid. The football players rule the school. Out of all the schedule, TJ's is the most busy. He has to go to mandatory Varsity games each week on top of his own games and practice. TJ will mostly likely be doing the indoor box lacrosse with EJ. We will see about him doing it.

Rae |
Rae is in 7th grade this year and starts Junior High. She is doing well making friends already and talked about the girls she sat at lunch with today. She is my little social butterfly so it will take her no time at all to make friends. Rae starts cross country next week and will also be practicing everyday after school. Fun Fun. Rae is adjusting well to her new life in this area. She has tons of friends at church and hopefully will make tons at school.

CJ and Mom |
CJ is in 5th grade this year. First day of school, Mr CJ didn't get on the bus for the 3rd year in a row. It didn't help that the bus was 20 minutes late and he sat there fretting the whole time getting more and more anxious about getting on that bus. Last night he was already on the "I don't want to go to school" kick, so this morning I might have to use brute force to get him on that bus! Resistance is futile! CJ seemed to do good once I dropped him off yesterday at school. With a little hesitation, CJ walked into class. Hopefully today goes smoother. CJ will doing the Box lacrosse on saturday and has asked to play in the band/strings this year. He is undecided on if he wants to do drums, guitar or violin. I am also hoping to get him into a soccer league since he missed football this year.

AJ hamming it up for the camera |
AJ is in 2nd grade this year. First day of school for him went without a hitch. He went on that bus by himself with complete strangers and by the time I got to the school and watch him go to class he was busily working away getting all his stuff for class. AJ will be doing soccer hopefully this year. We are not going to have him do the indoor lacrosse yet as his goal right now in lacrosse is "how deep he can make a hole in the ground with his lacrosse stick" lol.
School starts...crazy life starts (not that it wasn't crazy before lol)...crazy schedules...seminary at 5:50 every morning starts monday! My school preceptorship starts in 3 weeks... Life is going to interesting, busy and fun for the next few months.... Let the fun begin!
