Whatchamacallit...

I didn't know what to name this post. Naming it "Life" is way to boring!  Naming it "Job" is the same. So why not a odd word lol.  MUCH more interesting.  :)

First and foremost, I need to spit out our exciting news...  I'M PREGNANT.....   HA!! If you thought that was real you have another thing coming!!!  That the last thing I want or would think exciting news!!lol.

Ok well I will not delay my play.   James got a job!!   He went in for a interview for a 4 month contract job working for Zumiez ( you know that cool hip snowboarding/skateboarding place) and came out with a full time offer for another job because they loved him so much.  He will be managing the whole reconstruction of  ZUMIEZ.COM .  The only thing is this job is way up in Everett, 50 miles from the town we live in.  This means we will have to make some hard decisions after the school year ends.  Do we stay or do we move AGAIN.   Is it worth it to uproot the family again to live north of seattle to save money on gas and commute time.  A little over 1 hour for  good traffic conditions and an 1 1/2 hours for not good traffic (which is the majority of the time) seems overkill.  BUT we love our community, love our ward at church, love our schools (top 5 in state). Decisions decisions!! These next few months will include heart felt prayers, a tally of gas charges, and looking into the possibilities of a move.  Will we find the same up north (woodinville/bothell area)?  Will we find the strong LDS community we have in this town (we have 5 wards in this small town)?  Will the kids adjust?  Will my son who is in IEP (resource) get the help he needs in another school district?  Advice is needed if anyone wants to give some.  Just respond to this post if you would like to give me some advice on this.

Moving on.. This week kids are on spring break!  EJ and TJ will be going on a canoeing trip at the end of the week while the little ones stay at home with me, and daddy going to his new job.   There is no money to go on a trip at this point.  After this quarter for my school we hope to take a trip as a family.

My school is school. What more can I say about it.  Talking about death all the time has it's moments probably why I want to go into pediatric nursing instead of other areas (although death is apart of that field also).  We are starting to read a book called "Tuesday with Morrie" which I have to admit is a great book on see  death through a terminally ill person eyes. Morrie follows a lot of what I believe.  I have to say thus far in my Nursing school endeavors, it's been about medical issues with touch of holistic nursing.  This quarter is all focused on the mind, spirit, and of course the body.  Very interesting.  I can't help by tear up reading this book along with my other book I am reading in my End of life class, ' Man's search for Meaning".

Anyways enough of kari rant.  Good things, school, and rant all in one post. WOOT!!

My dad has commuted to Salt Lake City (about 50 miles away) for over 25 years because we wanted to stay in Provo. Yes, there's been some hard days and near mishaps, but he's been watched over by guardian angels for sure. Just something to think about.
Also, about the R-rated thing. I admit I sometimes do watch those kind of movies. I always feel a lessening of the spirit after, though. It's a good thing, to stand up for what you believe. Real life and movies are different, your teacher should know that!
Anyway, hope things go well!
