EJ w/ some of his lacrosse buddies |
EJ had his first JV lacrosse game of the season on Bainbridge Island. So friday night our whole family, plus EJ's friend, went on a ferry ride across the Puget sound to get over to his game. Sadly, we missed the 3:45 ferry by minutes, and the 4:40 ferry ended up being full, so by 5:30 pm (and late to the game mind you, game started at 5:30) we finally got on a ferry to make it across. EJ ended up making it right at the end up 1st quarter when the score was 6-0 with his team on the 0 side of the equation. EJ got right in the game and score the only goal of the game, mind you within 1 minute of him getting in the game!! Good Job EJ. :) The score sadly was 11-1 at end. We then stayed to see the varsity game which was even more depressing when at 1/2 time the score was 16-0, and decide to take off to not see the massacre any more with the promise of a ice cream stop!!!
We got a GREAT deal on a Ipod Touch for him (and Rae for her birthday tomorrow) and he was very happy to open it up in the morning!!. He has been listening to the music plus playing all the apple app game on it since. The boy always has 1 earphone in at all times.
I love you EJ. You are a wonderful son!!! You make your momma proud!!
Here are some more pics of EJ growing up. Most my pictures of him as a little guy are not in digital form so I only have him from 6 on.
Brotherly Love. You will always fine EJ and TJ doing just this!! They wrestle around to this day. This was taken in 2005. EJ is a awesome snowboarding. He is not afraid to go down the double black diamond trails and does them well. He was a Junior Snowboard instructor last year!!
EJ is ALWAYS hanging on the end of my couches even to this day. :) I am always having to yell at him to remove himself from them!!
EJ has been playing lacrosse since 5th grade and LOVES it. He is in 6th grade in this picture.
EJ is very ACCIDENT prone. He has had 2 broken arms since October!!! This time he had to have surgery to put a pin in his arm to keep it in place while it healed.
