Ok, so what am I going to do with Mr. EJ. Since October he has broken both arms. Luckily his right arm is not in a cast. I got the radiology report back a few days ago and he had a torus (buckle) fracture in his right arm back in October. This type of fracture is not a complete fracture and so only needed a arm splint.
Then on November 23, he broke his left radius doing tricks with his snowboard down a hill that most people use for sledding. So off to the doctor we go again to get the news that he had a distal radial fracture that has been displace. He then was referred to an orthopedist to see what to do.
Coming out of the orthopedist we learned that EJ's arm needed a pin put in to stabalize it and a painful procedure to put it in place. So on Dec. 2nd EJ had his surgery to put the pin in.

Then on thursday, the 9th EJ had his arm checked, so Grandma and I took him to his doctor appt to get his cast put on and see if the pin in his arm was doing it's job . Well Mr. EJ decided to heal up good and the pin went under his skin and the pin was not able to be removed. He will be having another surgery in 6 weeks to remove the pin. grrr anyways. Luckily we have cobra insurance to cover all the cost of this all.
