88 days and "what the Heck" :)

They look like angels dont they? Or little missionaries...EJ, TJ, CJ my little bulldozers. :) This was taken about 6 years ago. :) Look how cute they all are.

Ok first I will go into the good things today cuz today has been a crazy day and I am just downright tired.

Today was my 40 minute run but we did 45 minutes of hill training instead. I ate something right before I left which was a mistake because I felt I drudged along just trying to finish the whole time. lol Note to self: DONT eat something right before you go out Kari. :) Tomorrow is my easy day with 40 min on the elipitical and then working out with the weights. Sadly I will be by my lonesome because Linda hurt her back. Sigh. Anyways..

This weeks goals. Watch what I eat and drink plenty of water. Also I would like to make healthy meals for the whole family. Yes, Fetticini alfredo and biscuits are great but definitely not on the "lets eat healthy" side. And yes I made the biscuits from pancake mix and altered the the recipe with lots of butter, milk and honey. LOL I should have put some whey protein in it to counter all the carbs but HEY.

Speaking of whey protein. I made the BEST pumpkin cake made with applesauce instead of oil and whey protein put in to balance. They where a hit with some of TJ's friends on his football team today. :) The recipe is found at allrecipes.com and is a great... click on the link above. Remember substitute oil for applesauce and add 3 scoops of whey protein. :)

Besides that everything has been a little crazy today. Kids not listening. Kids destroying. Kids going behind me with a bulldozer destroying everything I clean. You know the never ending battle. lol So I am happy my little loves are all in bed and I can lay in my own bed with nothing but the TV to stare me down and give me trouble. :) hehe..
