Snowboarding season here we come....

It looks like we will have snow, after all, up at Crystal Mountain (got 10 inches on Sunday). I was a little worried our snowboarding season would be null and void (like a few years ago) because of no snow. It's great not having snow down here in the valley but it not nice way up in the mountains. :)

This year EJ got recruited to be a snowboard instructor cadet. A cadet means he will be a youth instructor along side a adult instructor. EJ is already a level 7 snowboarder. It means he can do double black diamond trails with no problem. He rides rails, jumps etc and is quite good at it. Thus, he was good enough this year to be a cadet, mind you, at 12 years old. Hopefully TJ will be good enough this next year to become a cadet to so we don't have to pay for another pass. :) EJ gets a free pass for being a cadet.

We probably will not be going as much this year because we have to make 2 house payments now. You Washingtonians know how much houses are out here. The payments on the houses are triple/quadruple any normal rent payment. And then times that by 2 and you will kind of get a feel on what 2 house payment end up being a month. Luckily my house in NY has a great paying renter in it and is taking care of it as if it is his own (thanks dad).

Well I will go... have to get the kids to bed. Just was thinking of the snowboarding season and thought to post some stuff.

Hooray for you! Boo for us! I am so not a big fan of snow, or cold. Troy went snowboarding today, yes, he's a snow fan. I guess there has to be some here too! :)
