My Favorite Photo

This is one of my favorite photos of all-time of my children.  I took the photo on a mid-afternoon walk on a very busy day.  I’d been on conference calls all day and needed to get out for a break.

In Covington there is a run-bike path along Soos Creek and this is actually the horse trail that runs parallel. 

There are real life parallels in this photo:

• AJ is following CJ
• The photo is only in focus around the boys – much like life
• And finally – they are walking towards the light.  A metaphor I hope they maintain throughout their lives.

I recall much of my life from vignettes and this is one them.
