Quote of the month....

I thought I would start a new thing on my blog.   I am going to have a quote of the month.   Each quote will be thought provoking, I might throw in a few that are humorous just for kicks.

Check this one out.....

" We live in the present, we dream in the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past" by Madam Chiang Kai-Shek

What a powerful statement.

Now onto today's happenings....

Today in church James, EJ and I had to speak in sacrament meeting.  It was on being an example.  The sad part is we where 3 minutes late for church (we arrived during opening hymn) and the bishopric where sweating bullets thinking we were not going to come.   I would never do that EVER!!!!    One of the counselors decide to embarrass us on the stand and announced our arrival by saying "I am glad the Vastbinder showed up today to give their talks" HEHE.   Luckily we just laugh and everyone in the congregation thought it was funny to.  It might have made someone else mad that he said that but we just thought it was funny  We did deserve it!   I am sure I was beat red after that one.   Not a very good example to set when you are talking about being an example.   AHHHH.   I did apologize to the ward when I got up on stand saying something to that effect.   Ya the vastbinders are full of drama.  It's neverending I tell you!

EJ did a great job on his talk.   After the talk he gave today I would have to say that he is a natural born speaker.   He was so clear  and was not nervous at all.    I

I better run.  I have to read my first chapter in Organic Chemistry before tomorrows class...
