Every morning when we look out our family room window we see a sight of some Jay's. I looked up what type of Jay it was this morning and found that it is a Stellar Jay, a cousin of the blue jay. They are big birda and a few of them nestled in our huge tree in the back yard.
I love all the wild life I am seeing here where we live. We have a variety of Woodpeckers here. I saw a new type yesterday I had never seen before in our back yard tree. Gotta go figure out what type is was.I have seen a few deer in the backyard here and there also.
James loves the sounds of the coyotes at night and the clear sky to see all the stars. We are in Heaven here on our little farm.
Here is a picture of a HUGE Pileated Woodpecker that looks like the one we have in one of our trees. It has pecked out a huge hole for it's nest.
