Our New Home

Here is our new home. We moved from our other home (now being rented) to get some land and have NO neighbors. James has always wanted land and just did not like living so close to other neighbors as we had in our other home.

We bought this house w/ 10 acres in October last year. It is a older home, built in 1983, but in order to get a brand new home or close to home with 10 acres was going to cost us a fortune (you seattleans now the prices of homes around here). It a nice home but needs a whole bunch of upgrades. The carpet is GREEN. Yes I love green(it's my favorite color) but not my choice of carpet colors. There is a whole plethura of things we have to fix or upgrade on the house. As some of you know who went cruising with us, our furnace died on us so Sears in coming to install a new one plus add a heat pump and central Air. (we might as well get everything at this point). We knew the furnace was old (actually it is the original) but we expected a little more juice out of the baby. Eventually I would like to update the kitchen and redue all the floors to put tile in the kitchen. For us it just slow and steady. One big project at a time a year.

Overall the house is a nice house and will be a awesome home once all the upgrades are done. The house has a level 10 acres and landscape on the yard is amazing and we are in a clearing surrounded by our forest, our own little paradise. IT has a barn with horse stall on the back of it, and plenty of room for the kids to play and ride their toys. The school are great out here too. The house does have character which you don't get with newer homes.

Here are a few pictures of the home:
